Nope! I'll give gentle direction while also encouraging natural movement. I'll guide you into flattering positions, fix hair/hand placement, and prompt candid interactions so you never feel awkward or unsure.

For outdoor: Colors inspired by nature, sage, rust,mauve,tan,soft blues, charcoal, and warm neutrals

For studio: soft neutrals, earthy tones, cream,beige,dusty pastels,muted greens, linens and knits photograph beautifully.

Avoid bright neon, large logos, reds and overly busy patterns.

We'll reschedule - no problem at all! I want your photos to look beautiful and your family to feel comfortable.

Totally okay - I expect kids to be wiggly, curious, unpredictable humans! I follow their lead, work around their personality, and capture the REAL moments.

I do light, natural retouching - gentle enhancements that keep skin true-to-life. I want you to look like you!

I don't release raw or unedited files, as they don't reflect my artistic style or final quality. Every photo is lovingly edited in my true-to-color approach.

You will receive a private online gallery where you can view, download, share and print your images. Full-resolution files are included. You'll receive your full gallery within 2-3 weeks (Newborns up to 3 weeks)

Yes! Pets can be included in sessions - just let me know ahead of time so we can plan accordingly.

Absolutely! I just ask that you don't apply filters, or heavy edits on top of my images and please tag me - it truly helps!

In my home studio in Rush City, MN

Yes! Ultrasounds, blankets, newborn wraps, baby announcements, toys, heirlooms, etc. Just let me know ahead of time so I can plan the setup!

Sessions within 20 miles of Rush City are included in your session price. Locations beyond 20 miles will have a .70C /Mi fee added.
